The most pertinent investment is IHS, now the largest tower company in EMEA. ECP was one of the earliest institutional investors in IHS, investing in 2011. Over the subsequent 7 years IHS has grown from having 270 towers in one country at the time of our initial investment to over 24,000 towers across 6 countries in 2018. IHS is now the largest tower company across Europe, Middle East and Africa and the 11th largest tower company globally.
